Park Güell is one of Barcelona’s most popular attractions, and here are some of the best ways to get to Park Guell.

By Bus

The nearest bus stop is the Carretera del Carmel-Park Güell.

The bus routes 24 and 92 arrive at Carretera del Carmel-Park Güell, directly across the street from the park’s main entrance.

You can also take the H6 or D40 bus and get off at the Travessera de Dalt bus stop.

On the other hand, driving down to Park Guell is not recommended.

Aside from dealing with traffic, the procedure of finding close parking can be exhausting.

Most parking spaces around the park are in a green area reserved for residents. You’ll have to rely on adjacent paid parking lots.

Of course, getting a taxi is a better option because it saves you the trouble of walking uphill.

Request that they drop you off at the Carretera del Carmel entrance.

By Walk

Walking is also an excellent way to explore Park Güell. It is conveniently accessible from several local neighborhoods.

It’s a delightful stroll to the park entrance if you stay in the Gracia or El Carmel neighborhoods.

You can take Carrer de Gran de Gracia from the Gracia neighborhood and walk uphill until you reach Carrer de Larrard.

Then turn right and follow the signs to Park Güell.

From El Carmel, take the escalators to Carrer de Massens from El Carmel and walk down Carrer del Taquigraf Garriga to the park’s entrance.

The walk should take around 25 to 30 minutes.
